   Windows NT 3.5, 3.51 & 4.0

   Introduction:
   -------------
   This document describes the procedure to install  Windows NT v3.5,
   v3.51 & v4.0 driver for Realtek RTL8139 PCI Fast Ethernet adapter.

   Location of NT 4.0 Driver :     \WINNT\RTL8139.SYS
   Location of NT 3.51 Driver:     \NT351\RTL8139.SYS

   Installing driver procedure on Microsoft Windows NT :
   -----------------------------------------------------

   1. Please copy LAN driver for NT to your HDD before installing Windows NT.
      For example: xcopy X:\RT-8139\WINNT4\*.* C:\NTDRV/s/e or
                   xcopy X:\RT-8139\WINNT4\*.* A:\NTDRV/s/e or
                   xcopy X:\RT-8139\NT351\*.* C:\NTDRV/s/e or
                   xcopy X:\RT-8139\NT351\*.* A:\NTDRV/s/e or
      (X: is the drive where CD Driver disk has been inserted)

   2. Excuting Windows NT Setup. When Setup start searching for a Network 
      Adapter, click [select from list].

   3. Select [Have Disk] from Select Network Adapter dialog box. 
   
   4. The Inser Disk dialog box will be appeared. Type the correct drive
      and path to load LAN driver.( For example: C:\NTDRV, then click on 
      [OK]. Note: C:\NTDRV is the location where LAN driver for NT) 
       
   5. The Realtek RTL8139[A/B/C/8130] PCI Fast Ethernet Adapter will be
      shown on list. Click on [OK]. 
   
   6. Select [Next] to continue Setup.

   7. The screen will appear " RTL8139 Duplex mode " dialog box . The 
      default value is "AUTO" so that the RTL8139 PCI Fast Ethernet adapter 
      and its driver RTL8139.SYS will auto-detect the line speed, 10 Mb or
      100Mb, while the RTL8139.SYS is loading. The other values, "10" or 
      "100", are only used when you want to forced RTL8139 PCI Fast
      Ethernet adapter to 10Mb or 100Mb.

   8. You must answer a few more questions to continue Setup.
    
   9. Restarting your system you will acquire network service.
