Higraph Version 1.0.34

OVERVIEW
Higraph is a powerful, fast but small tool for drawing
various "system" type diagrams, including process and data
models, dataflow diagrams, and statecharts. It implements a
subset of David Harels "higraphs", from whence it takes its
name.
It supports blocks within blocks, and intelligently linked
edges or flows between these blocks. These diagrams can be
freely editted, printed, and the picture or the text of the
image can be pasted into appropriate applications.
Since it is based on a concept (Harels higraphs) which can
be applied to many areas, higraph can be used to draw many
different types of diagram. Any mathematical graph (nodes +
edges), as well as graphs where the nodes have depth, can be
drawn. Higraph can support very large diagrams, and will
print up to A0. Nodes and edges can both have undelying
definition and comment fields of up to 1000 characters.
Included with the package is an overview of Higraph theory,
and some sample diagrams.
Higraph is a shareware tool, small enough to be included as
an email attachment.

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
Windows 3.1 or higher
386 CPU or better
4 MB RAM
Mouse
1.6MB harddisk space for the installation, with supporting
documentation

INSTALLATION
Unzip the files into the directory from where you want it to
run. There is no installation script. To associate *.hgf
files with Higraph, from File Manager or Explorer, double-
click on a .hgf file, and browse to the directory where
Higraph.exe is, and choose it. Windows will then remember
the association.

LICENCING
Higraph is shareware, and may be evaluated for a period of
21 days, after which a licence must be purchased to continue
using it. The program is freely distributable.
The details of the licence agreement are in LICENCE.wri,
included with the software.
