<When you upgraded from 25 to 50MHZ, did this cause any changes
to the color or any other problems? I have been told that the
color chip will not operate properly above 25 >

I didn't have any problems -- and it did speed up the performance
of the machine. I have been happy with the results. After all,
25 is REALLY slow.
I have been doing AutoCadLT and other stuff.

<You REALLY got screwed! The OverDrive chip was really bad! It
upgraded the clock speed a little, but not P5 proportions. The
big thing was the bus speed. The VL bus is too slow for Pentiums
and therefore made it decrease the proccessing power.
Might wan't to have a garage sale and get a new Cyrix 6x86 or
AMDX4-100. I tried them out at a swap meet, SUPERB!>

Well, it sped it up for me. Everything happens much quicker
anyway and that is what I was looking for. I went 486SX/25 to
486DX/50..... I don't know what P5 means.... I AM a bit of a
novice. Well, anyway you wrote in April... you see I haven't
looked into this lately. But I have decided to go really up and
am waiting for delivery of a Gateway 2k 166 Pentium 28MG RAM,
etc. with 17 in monitor --- and all my worries about chips not
fast enough and boards not configured right and Tandy quirks will
go away..... well for a while...... That is inplace of the
Cyrix...
