FileMan v1.62 is a file splitting, transfer and joining utility for
PowerBuilder users. It extends the functionality of the Windows
Explorer to split files, transfer to your media, and join them
later. This is particularly useful for every user that needs to
move files from one computer to the other. Why another file
splitter and joiner? This is author's vision of a windows
application should be like. Instead of asking users to
specify filenames, the application presents the filenames
and directory names for easy selection. File transfer tool
is similar to the author's dirm4w13 utility, except that it
is tailored for this particular application. In windows 95,
the user can even call up the default application to open up
the joined file, such as ZIP application or other file viewers.

You need the PowerBuilder runtime libraries to run this utility.
The application does not need to be installed. Simply copy the
files (FILEMAN.EXE, README.TXT and HELP.DAT) to a directory of
your choice and run it from there. You might want to create
a shortcut on your Start menu so that you can easily access it.

This utility is a shareware, you can use it and distribute it
in its entirety to your friends freely. There is no expiration
date for this application. If you found the application useful
and would like to be informed of future enhancement, you are
encouraged to register it with the author. Registration
entitles you for timely notification of new versions. The
current registration fee is $10 (U.S. dollars). Source code
is also available from the author for $30.
