1. What is Jump'n'Run 98 ?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Jump'n'Run 98 is a 'Run' program enhancement similar to the Start|Run dialog, which has been created to avoid the unnecessary action of 'drilling down' through directories to locate the file you wish to run.
Jump'n'Run 98 includes a menu system where your paths can be stored for quick access to the file that you're looking for. The menu system has a small setup program which allows the positioning of the paths (Jumps) in the order that you specify, and will allow the addition and removal of Jumps.
Inherent in the menu system, is the ability to remember your settings every time you switch on, it does this by maintaining a file called runpp.dat located in the same directory as the executable program file. If you move the program, the data file will be recreated.
Jump'n'Run runs in the background as a System Tray Icon.
2. Installation
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Jump'n'Run is installed by choosing the 'SETUP.EXE' file, this will install the software using Installshield, by default, Jump'n'Run 98 will be installed in the \Program Files\Jump'n'Run 98 directory, you can change the installation path to suit your requirements. The install program will create the necessary directories for you and ask you to confirm the installation of a shortcut in your startup folder. It is best to confirm this as Jump'n'Run 98 runs best when installed automatically when you switch on.

3. De-Installation
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Jump'n'Run 98 can be easily deinstalled by selecting the Add/Remove Programs Icon from the Control Panel. Select the Jump'n'Run 98 listing and click remove. The deinstallation program will now remove Jump'n'Run 98 from your computer.
