What do I have to do to get the Chronoset program to
work?
     After installing it, nothing (except logon to the
internet occasionally).

Why didn't Chronoset start up after I installed it and
restarted the computer?
     If you started the the setup program from Explorer
     and did not close Explorer before you restarted then
     Chronoset (and possibly other) programs may not start
     on reboot. Reboot again, or double click on it from
     the Startup folder of the Start Menu.
What does Chronoset do?
     It checks the time as displayed by the US Naval
Observatory on the internet, and sets your pc's system
clock to match it.

Does Chronoset set the date on my pc?
     No.

How do I know if Chronoset is running?
     It should always run unless you terminate it. If
     you press Ctl+Alt+Del you will see it listed as a
     running program.

How can I turn Chronoset off?
     Go to Start, Settings, Taskbar & Start Menu. Follow
     the directions to remove a program from the menu. You
     will find it listed under the Startup folder in the Start Menu.

How often does Chronoset check the USNO time?
     Every time you logon to the internet, and once every
     hour you remain connected to the internet.

Where can I see the US Naval Observatory time on the internet?
     The URL is http://tycho.usno.navy.mil/what.time

What operating system is needed to use Chronoset?
     It was designed to be used by Windows 95 or Windows 98.

Will Chronoset work on Windows 3.1?
     No.

Why won't Chronoset work?
     You may not have the following Visual Basic runtime
     libraries installed on your system. If not, you may
     download them from Simtel.net and install them.
