  Description :

   VGA-Test V1.0 is a simple utility to configure and test your monitor.
   It is very useful for a monitor/computer-company, because the program
   helps you to set up the value for height,width,contrast,... within
   a short time and at all : VERY EXACTLY. You can use it on nearly all
   monitors with a SVGA Card (works also on the most VGA). It supports
   the resolutions 640x480, 800x600, 1024x768. Another option is included
   for faster testing all resolutions on one monitor, it let you switch
   to the next higher resolution just with pressing ENTER and you don't
   have to go back to the main menu and select a new one.

                        - Thank you,
                                     Roman Mittermayr, 18.01.1998

  QUESTION :

   The program stops with an error, which says, that there's not enough
   memory.

  ANSWER :

   Reboot your machine with a bootdisk, which doesn't contain the
   AUTOEXEC.BAT file. Start an editor and created the following file
   name CONFIG.SYS on the bootdisk :

    DEVICE=C:\WINDOWS\HIMEM.SYS
    DOS=UMB

  If you don't have installed Microsoft WINDOWS on your computer in the
  "C:\WINDOWS" directory, change the first line to the right directory.

  If you only have installed MS-DOS on your machine, reset the C:\WINDOWS
  part through your DOS - Directory like this :

   DEVICE=C:\DOS\HIMEM.SYS
   DOS=UMB

  Reboot the machine and insert the bootdisk.
